Prof. Dr. Timo Meynhardt is Professor of Business Psychology and Leadership at Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL) and Director of the Center for Leadership and Values in Society at the University of St. Gallen. He developed a needs-based understanding of public value, which forms the core of his research in the field of public value-oriented leadership. Meynhardt is editor of the Public Value Atlas in Germany and Switzerland—a method for measuring the public value contribution of companies and organizations. He is a member of the development team for the Leipzig Leadership Model.

Together with Justus von Grone, he initiated the Public Value Award for Start-ups.
