Heralt Hug is a lawyer and partner at CMS. He studied and earned his doctorate in Konstanz. As a specialist lawyer for intellectual property law, he specializes in trademark, competition, and media law. His focus is on legal developments in e-commerce and new media. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Heralt Hug is an honorary professor of digitalization law at the Brandenburg University of Technology.

Heralt Hug has been mentoring startups at SpinLab in Leipzig for many years and recently also at ExciteLab in Dresden. He is also a member of the board of Cluster IT Mitteldeutschland.
