Prerequisites for successful participation

Your business model is oriented towards the common good, innovative and promises growth.

Your company has not yet received an (EY) PUBLIC VALUE AWARD in the past.

Initial financial results are not required, but helpful if available.
Intensive public value coaching
Public Value-Coaching
Up to 50 hours of mentoring and consulting services from EY (e.g. legal, tax issues, business model, investor readiness, financing - you decide what and when).

This is how it continues after your application:
Multi-stage selection process
From July to August, we'll take the time to review your applications. In a multi-stage selection process and based on the Public Value Scorecard, the jury will choose up to seven start-ups for the final event on November 26, 2024, in Leipzig.
Announcement of the finalists
The finalists will be announced in early September. If you're among them, we'll contact you immediately. With your confirmation, you'll have the opportunity to pitch in front of an audience in Leipzig on November 26, 2024. We'll provide coaching to ensure the Public Value you are contributing to the society is effectively communicated. We'll coordinate all the details with you in advance.
Online voting
In addition to the jury, the community and the audience at the event will also award a prize. In early October, we'll start an online voting process. The start-up that receives the most votes by the end of the evening will win the Audience Award. We'll create short profile videos based on your application for the voting process.
Award ceremony in Leipzig
On November 26, 2024, the final and award ceremony will take place in Leipzig. All the finalist start-ups will pitch live in front of the jury and audience. During the event, the winners will be determined by the jury based on the Public Value Scorecard, and the Online Voting winner will also be announced.
